The Math of 40 vs. 20

The Math of 40 vs. 20

                                                                 Economics

Competitors give you 20 pieces. We give you 40. Why size matters for the heavy user.

When we designed Slapple, we looked at the current market leaders (Rogue, Lucy, Nicorette). They all shared one fundamental flaw: The 20-Count Tin.

This "Travel Size" standard was inherited from the pharmaceutical industry, which views nicotine as a medicine you should use sparingly. But we aren't a pharma company. We are a lifestyle company born from vaping. And we know how vapers consume nicotine.

The Consumption Reality

A heavy vaper hits their device 200-300 times a day. If they switch to gum, they don't just chew 3 pieces. They might chew 8-12 pieces a day to match their previous nicotine serum levels.

The 20-Count Problem: With a competitor's tin, a heavy user runs out in less than 48 hours. This creates:

  • Range Anxiety: "Do I have enough for tomorrow morning?"
  • Panic Buying: Stopping at expensive convenience stores because you ran out.
  • Waste: Throwing away a metal/plastic tin every 2 days.

The Slapple Standard (40ct)

By doubling the count, we solved the logistics of quitting:

  1. The Work Week Solution: One 40-count tin lasts the average user Mon-Thu. You grab one tin for the week, not three.
  2. Cost Efficiency: Packaging is expensive. By putting more product in one package, we reduce the "cost of goods" (COGS) regarding the tin itself. We pass those savings to you. That's why Slapple costs ~$8.99 for 40, while two tins of Rogue (40 total) would cost you ~$11.00+.
  3. Environmental Impact: You generate 50% less trash per month. If you are going through 15 tins a month with Rogue, you are only using 7 tins with Slapple.

It’s not just more gum. It’s a respect for your time, your wallet, and your intelligence.
